Communications Division

The Communications Division consists of 9 Full Time Dispatchers who operate our Emergency Communications center 24/7.

The primary functions of the dispatchers are:

  • Answer Emergency and non-emergency calls for the Police and Fire Department
  • Coordinate Emergency and Non-emergency Police and Fire Responses
  • Log calls for service into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System

Our State-of-the-Art Communications Center handles both traditional and wireless 911 calls, as well as “text-to-911” emergency messages.
