Patrol Division

The Patrol Division of the Salisbury Police Department is comprised of (4) Patrol Sergeants and (8) Patrol Officers along with (6) Part-Time Officers.  The men and women of the Operations Division generally have direct contact with the citizens working and living in Salisbury. 

Our Patrol Division handles emergency and non-emergency calls for service and police response 24-hours per day to the Town of Salisbury, Massachusetts.  They also provide proactive patrols of Salisbury designed to reduce crime and limit collisions, and increase overall traffic safety.  The Patrol Division also handles all crash reports and investigates many of the cases that come in day to day.

The Animal Control Division enforces state laws and local ordinances pertaining to the regulation and control of dogs and other animals which includes the investigation of complaints concerning regulation, licensing and control.

We also have a number of specialty units such as K9 Unit, Motorcycle Unit, Mountain Bike Unit, Harbor Master, OHRV Unit and Parking Enforcement.  These specialty units are available to be deployed daily or as needed.
