Prescription Drug Dropoff
Prescription Drug Drop Box
The prescription drug drop box is located in the Salisbury Police Station Lobby located at 181 Beach Road, Salisbury MA
Unwanted, unused or expired prescription drugs have been determined to present substantial risks to our community by either falling into the wrong hands, or by damaging our environment through improper disposal.
The Salisbury Police Department has installed a secure pharmaceutical drug collection drop-box at the Salisbury Police Department to ensure the safe and proper disposal of prescription medications. Community members are welcome to come to the front lobby of the Salisbury Police Department where unwanted medications may be turned in anonymously.
Medications in standard containers may be deposited in those containers. Loose medication should be put into plastic bags and then deposited. Please ensure any liquid medication is enclosed in secure containers and placed in a plastic bag before depositing. Syringes cannot be placed in the drop box under any circumstances as this creates a hazardous situation for our personnel.
Funding for this program was made possible through the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS), Edward J. Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant.
