The Town of Salisbury utilizes the Code Red Emergency Alerting System to notify residents and businesses of critical situations and provide information regarding necessary actions. With this system, a specific geographic area can be selected to send messages to those within that area. The Salisbury Police Department encourages anyone who lives or works in Salisbury and visitors to register for Code RED alerts.

Some examples of Code RED alerts include:

  • Police Activity
  • HazMat Situations
  • Evacuation Notices
  • Severe Weather Events
  • Snow Emergency/Parking Ban
  • Other Important Town Information
